1. What data we collect
Information you give us:
- Name, email address, delivery address and billing address
- Phone number, where you provide one
- Order history and any correspondence you send us
Information collected automatically:
- Browsing and device data via cookies and similar technologies, including pages viewed, referring site, IP address, browser type and approximate location
Payment information:
Card details are collected and processed directly by our payment provider. We never see, handle or store your full card details. We receive only confirmation of payment and the last four digits of the card used.

3. Who we share your data with
- Shopify — our e-commerce platform and payment processor
- Our print-on-demand fulfilment partner — receives your name and delivery address so your order can be produced and shipped
- Delivery carriers — receive the details needed to deliver your parcel
- Analytics providers — receive cookie and usage data where you have consented
- Our accountant and professional advisers — where necessary, and under confidentiality obligations
We may also disclose data where we are legally required to, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell your personal data.
4. International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States and the EEA. Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards — either a UK adequacy decision, or the International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. 5. How long we keep your data
- Order and transaction records: 6 years after the end of the relevant financial year
- Customer account data: for as long as your account is open, then 12 months after closure
- Marketing contact data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it
- Customer service correspondence: 2 years from the date of last contact
- Cookie and analytics data: typically no more than 26 months
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@madeby45.com. We will respond within one month.

7. Cookies
Essential cookies keep your cart and session working and do not need your consent. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set where you have given consent. You can change your cookie choices at any time through your browser settings.

We use Shopify's secure, encrypted platform and restrict access to personal data to those who need it. We will notify you and the ICO where required if a breach occurs.
9. Children
Our store is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. Contact hello@madeby45.com if you believe a child has provided us with personal data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Where changes are significant, we will let you know by email or a notice on the store.
